World Kindness Day Collaborative Poster
Tired of classroom bullying? Infuse caring, empathy, and compassion using these World Kindness Day printables on November 13 with this collaborative poster! Buddy up four kids to work together to make one. Pair it with your own anti-bullying activities and random acts of kindness. Teach kids to make kindness the norm on World Kindness Day.
Turn this activity into a lesson about cultural diversity and inclusiveness. The four hands coming together as one visually illustrates the concept of multiculturalism by joining many cultures, or pieces of the puzzle, into one. Each piece of the puzzle is not whole without the other. It’s a wonderful metaphor to teach your class that all students belong.
Simply print out the game and picture directions back-to-back, give them dice, and watch them have fun working to create a collaboration poster for your classroom.
I recommend pairing up four students to work together, each one making their own piece of the puzzle. This entire activity for World Kindness Day should take no more than one 45 minute class period. This includes drawing, coloring, cutting, and taping the four pieces together.
