Why You’ll Love It
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was super excited to have found a gingerbread resource for the older kids. I loved this and the kids loved making their own. They took their time with their projects and were very creative when describing their houses. Thank you, will for sure use this in the future!

I used the coloring pages as a gingerbread house front for a 3D gingerbread contest my fifth graders were working on. So many great choices. Then we wrote detailed directions on how to build a gingerbread house. Great resource. Thanks

Added this to my unit on making gingerbread houses.
My students enjoyed creating their own gingerbread house and having a friendly competition to see whose was the best decorated. Perfect activity for right before winter break.
I used this resource to decorate the hallway for the holidays. My students also wrote an example of each type of sentence to talk about their houses. I have used these resources before, and my students always love to complete them.
I have some kiddos who finish their assignments for the day before others. We will break out activities like this, depending on the month we are in, to work on while others are finishing their school work! It’s a big motivator for some of my students. When they put their character together, they will also fill out one of the writing prompts. We hang them in the hallway for everyone to see!
Love the variety of gingerbread houses to choose from. My students loved decorating and then writing about their gingerbread house.
