These fall zendoodle art worksheets are a perfect way to roll into Autumn and keep elementary kids engaged. They make great fast finisher activities for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students and include 10 fun templates like a leaf, acorn, and apple—so every design is unique! Students will practice drawing zendoodle art patterns, then add them to one of the 10 seasonal templates.

The PDF includes 2 printable handouts with an array of easy zentangle designs for kids. There are a total of 60 zendoodles with simple line and shape patterns. Use these with your elementary classes as a fast finisher activity, last minute art sub plan, or just as inspiration for your next art project.

Also included are 5 pages of printable zendoodle practice pages for kids. These make for a great warm-up or bellringer activity at the start of your art lesson. Children of this age can complete anywhere from 1 – 3 per class, given a 5 minute time period.

Lastly, I designed a “What is a Zendoodle?” art worksheet you can hand out to help students find inspiration for their own pattern designs. For this art activity, I highly recommend your class has access to fine-point drawing materials such as fine-tip markers, pens, and small brushes (if opting to paint). But simple drawing pencils would be fine, too.
