Why You’ll Love It
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is exactly what I was looking for. It provides students with so many designs and ideas for patterned art projects! I created one of these for each table group and the kids love getting ideas from them!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I LOVE all of the patterns that these include! I printed them out and put them on each table so the students have all of the options! They love being inspired and creating their own based on a zentangle that they saw. – Kelly C.

At the last minute, I realized that my 7th and 8th graders were struggling a LOT more with basic skills such as lines and patterns…Let’s just say they have already been a LIFE SAVER in my art classroom! The kids loved getting to see all of the different options for making a pattern, and how EASY they are to duplicate with just a few basic lines…

These were an amazing resource to incorporate with my zentangle project! I no longer can hear from students that they can’t think of any more designs, because this was sitting on the table and laminated and ready for me to hand them when they thought they were out of designs!

This was a great resource for my students to use in their creative pursuits! No more complaints about nothing to draw!

I added these to my student table carts. We start the year with line and pattern, sometimes the students struggle with putting lines and patterns together to create designs, these are perfect for jumpstarting creativity and ideas.
Katherine C. –
Great addition to my art lessons. Lots of lessons involve different types of line and pattern and the kids enjoy having ideas to look at. Thanks

I’m an online art teacher for adults, and I’ve been teaching a lot about creating zentangles, coloring books and filling up extra spaces in our bullet journals… this is so perfect for when even I feel stuck on some spaces to fill, and as an art challenge for ME when I don’t feel inspired. I printed these on bright cardstock and laminated them and I have SO much fun just flipping through them all!
Anna R. –
Awesome resource for zentangle projects with students. Easy to follow patterns and gives lots of ideas! Well done!

Melanie C. –
This is a great resource to help those students out when working on zentangle designs and they get stuck!
Robyn W. –
Fantastic reference, the only thing that would make it better would be some blank cards at the end to add your own doodles.
Virtually There (Teacher-Author) –
This is a well designed resource. My kids like it a lot. It does, however, take a lot of prep to put together (cutting and punching holes). I wanted to create one per student, but that would take too much time. I had one suggestion; it would be very helpful to have a number added to each design-section, as when kids find a fun pattern, they then could share the number. I would purchase it again,
Alison M. –
My students enjoyed using this resource and I found it useful for our classwork.
Amy A. –
These designs are great fast finishers for my students who need an extension when finished.

Amy P. –
Such a great resource! Definitely worth the time printing, cutting, and putting together. My students love using them!
Sarah S. –
I love these, because I scattered them on the tables in the art room for inspiration! The art teacher at our school was out of the building for 2 weeks and I was in charge of getting lessons for the substitute. These are easy to follow, use materials easily found in the art room and have great content! The sub even loved them and said she learned something new every time she taught the classes
Nicole H. –
thanks

I made 18 of these design doodle fans, two for each table in my art room. It was a lot of work, but my husband and a good friend helped me. They are a great resource and all my students, especially the ones that need help with ideas really seem to like them.

At the last minute, I realized that my 7th and 8th graders were struggling a LOT more with basic skills such as lines and patterns, which are the main components of our next few projects!! I bought these and had them printed and laminated the next morning. Let’s just say they have already been a LIFE SAVER in my art classroom! The kids loved getting to see all of the different options for making a pattern, and how EASY they are to duplicate with just a few basic lines. I have several more projects across my K-12 art classes that I know this resource will be great for. Thank you so much for creating it!
