Description
Craftsmanship Rubric Bulletin Board
Are you having a tough time with your elementary students handing in messy work? My visual arts students use this craftsmanship rubric for self-assessment and reflection. It illustrates media skills for 6 different tools (colored pencil, watercolor paint, oil pastel, acrylic paint, crayon, and marker). It is amongst my favorite art assessment tools in the art room.
Simply print and post it in your room and have students compare their own work to it. This craftsmanship bulletin board is great for lower elementary students learning how to control media like crayons and marker. It’s also flexible enough to work with upper elementary students learning about watercolor, oil pastel, and acrylic paint. Simply print, cut, and staple up!
And if your craftsmanship bulletin board ever gets splattered with paint or torn, simple print out another emoji face and staple it up.
