Students will practice technology skills with my digital scarecrow template and step by step art lesson. Then, pick a fall writing prompt to draft a creative story about their scarecrow craft.
Build a Scarecrow Activity on Google Slides

- This Google Slides fall activity includes tech tips and step by step directions with pictures for independent learning. And, kids can build a scarecrow using either copy & paste or drag & drop.
Overview of Creating a Digital Scarecrow
First, your students will pick a background. Then, kids will paste (or drag) a shirt, overalls or pants, a head, and a face. From there, they’ll accessorize the scarecrow with a hat, tie, coat, and shoes. Lastly, they’ll fill the background with hay, pumpkins, leaves, and birds.
