Digital Christmas Elf Templates
This Google Slides Christmas activity includes tech tips and step by step directions with pictures for independent learning. And, kids can build an elf using either copy & paste or drag & drop.
Overview of How to Build an Elf Art Project
First, your students will find the elf builder slide. This is where they’ll copy all the elf body parts onto beginning with the legs. Then, they’ll add shoes, clothes, arms, a head, and hat.
Once they’ve created their elf, they’ll select all the parts and group them together. Then, they’ll copy it into one of the elf workshop slides where they’ll add some fun extras.

This was a great distance learning activity to use virtually with my 5th graders as a much activity before winter break!

I gave this to my students two days before winter break. They loved creating their elf and scene. They loved writing their story. I told them to pick one prompt and most did both. The next day, they took turns sharing their screens so that the class could see what each student had created. Students complimented each other on the placement of objects or the elf’s pose. Some students asked if they could work on their scene some more. This was a great purchase. My students loved it.
